can i say that i am becoming a fan of Lars von Trier when i have only seen 2 of his movies?
what about if those two movies would be in my top 20 movies of all time?
the movie “Dancer In The Dark” is his musical movie staring Björk and i love that film. and on Sunday we went down to the local JB Hi Fi store {to buy my dad a DVD player} and “Dogville” was on sale, i had never seen it, but i always wanted to.
well i stayed up LATE last night {well actually early this morning} and watched the movie.
it was awesome.
not for children, it is for a mature thinking audience.
it is an amazing “illustration” of grace.
for me it was an allegory of Jesus and the Father or Grace and Judgement.
for me it is so “christian”.i gotta go out and get the rest of Lars von Triers films…
i highly recommend it.
i give it a crazy high 94%
